“Be more didactic about what a sandbox is” — session 10
Context: reviewing the draft of piece 1, the author asked for more explanation in several sections. The piece outgrew its 900-word target, and the author chose to raise the target rather than cut what they’d asked for. Journal: session 10.
Try to be more didactic about what a sandbox is, how we’re configuring it in this case and why, with three or four links to the Docker documentation.
Later, answering the choice between cutting back to 900 words and raising the target:
Do that: raise the target for the pieces to 600–1,200 words, recorded in an ADR.
(translated from Italian)
Why it matters: it changed a rule for all five pieces. A piece is the article where the reader runs something, and explaining that run fully is now worth the extra minute (ADR-0017).
